Well, just cleaned the bike this morning. Had to get the pressure washer to it, reminding me of the cyclo-cross season. The rear mech was absolutely caked in straw & Bedfordshire clay, making it impossible for the jockey wheels to go round. - You know I just thought at the time that I was having a little trouble with the gears. I thought it was me at first, - I now know otherwise. This Bedfordshire daub is pretty strong stuff, - half the houses in London were made of it at one time. -Still need to be wary at Cosford in a couple of weeks time, - it's got built-in cow & sheep muck in it so it could be fairly quick setting. Let's hope it's dry all week, the hills are bad enough punishment....
